Staff Dave Miller, PresidentDave has been building custom homes in the Clarkston area since 1985. He has expertly completed over 300 homes in Castlewood communities, as well as on individual home sites. A Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a minor degree in Structural Engineering from Bowling Green State University provide Dave a broad background in the financial aspects of managing a successful building company along with an understanding of the structural aspects of each project. Dave can be found supervising every job as well as personally completing the finish carpentry required for the intricate handrails, bookcases and custom woodwork features found within each one of the homes being built. Specializing in custom woodwork, custom homes from $300,000 to $2,000,000, Log and Timber Framed homes and historical restoration, Dave remains focused on all of the intricate details that give every home that finishing touch. While he enjoys the process of taking a home from the design process, through construction, to a family moving in, Dave applies the same dedication and attention to detail to smaller projects. His craftsmanship is evident in the remodeling, additions, carriages, houses and custom trim projects he has completed throughout his career. Whatever the scope of the job, Dave ensures that the work is something that both he, and the homeowner will be proud of for many years to come. When not in the field building homes, Dave can be found on the local baseball, soccer, basketball and football fields with his family. Annette Hollis, Office Manager When it comes to organization, Annette Hollis is our person. After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy, Annette dedicated 20 years to teaching young children. She taught locally at Cedar Crest Academy for nearly 15 years, then decided on a career change in 2002 and joined the Castlewood staff. She brings with her the experience and expertise to keep an organized and efficiently managed office while coordinating all of the contractors on each of our custom built homes. Her attention to detail, communication skills and ability to follow through are why our clients have been so complimentary of Castlewood Custom Homes' client relations and project management processes. Annette stays involved with the Clarkston Community by being an active member of the Clarkston Chamber of Commerce and a long time member of Our Lady of The Lakes Church. She volunteers her time with many projects that are sponsored by the Chamber and her Church. |
